About this course

The Certificate IV Mental Health course is an entry level position into community service work that includes mental health. Many community service agencies require workers who have an understanding about mental health including alcohol and drug issues.

Course is for people who enjoy working in groups or one to one with people who have a mental illness. Want to make a different to people's quality of life Learn about current approaches to mental health that focuses on the person not the illness.
