Do you consider yourself a multi-tasker with good communication skills and a supportive and caring nature?

A qualification in health services assistance will give you the opportunity to work in a variety of health care environments acting as a support function tohealth professionals in settings such as theatre and acute care.

You will have direct contact with clients and assist them with personal care, communication, mobility and rehabilitation. You will be required to implement programs and procedures to maximise client wellbeing. Acting as an Assistant to a Nurse or Medical Practitioner, your working environment can be varied. You may need to work shift hours and will need to lift heavy weights at times.
