We want your time at West Coast Institute to be fun as well as rewarding. If you find yourself in need of a little extra assistance, help is at hand. StudentCentro, located in the library on the first floor of D block is our student support hub.

The Help Desk operates from 9.30am to 3.00pm on weekdays, but you can drop in any time during library opening hours for assistance and information. If you can’t make it in person, contact StudentCentro on 9233 1005 or email

Available in the library at the help desk we can show you how to research your assignment topics, using both physical and online resources. We also run information literacy sessions for class groups.

Studying can be daunting, especially if you haven’t done it before or if you’re out of practice. Our Learning Support Team is here to help you get organised, guide you through your assignments and point you in the right direction for resources. You will get helpful strategies and tips to help meet the demands of studying. We won’t do your work for you, but we’ll help you learn the best study practices to achieve success. We also have a dedicated computer tutor available at different times. Check at the Help Desk for the current hours of this service.
